We assist manufacturers with the management of their excess and obsolete products through direct purchases as well as with the donation and disposition of goods to appropriate nonprofits and municipalities; aiding in the reduction of excess waste in our landfills.

We have developed multiple programs for our customers including granite vanity tops, toilets, and an array of flooring products. Ultimately, we work with our client’s needs to provide a final product ready for sale or to provide value engineering for larger construction projects. Costs are kept to a minimum by handling as much as we can in-house and partnering with the best in the business when other services are needed or most efficient. We address needs in a comprehensive, thoughtful, and holistic manner so our suppliers and customers can benefit with increased margins, lower costs, and maintain greater control over the process.

Who We Are

IRA Sales Associates, Inc. is a small, multigenerational family company with big purchasing power. Established in 1993 by Ira Rothman, IRA Sales has been involved with numerous deals in the wholesale closeout business. IRA Sales has the ability to move large quantities of merchandise and source products for both large and small format retailers, builders/developers, and nonprofits.

Scott Lippman, President/Owner

I have been a full-time resident of Santa Fe, New Mexico since 1993. Originally from New York, I moved to Los Angeles to attend the University of Southern California with a plan to go into child advocacy law. While at USC, I decided law school was not right path for me and after receiving my B.A. in Political Science and Sociology, I returned to NYC and earned a MSW from Columbia University. Upon graduating my wife, Jaimie, and I moved to Santa Fe. Jaimie began her career of teaching - specializing in teaching American Sign Language (ASL) and over time I became the director of a home health and hospice agency (as well as providing clinical care) serving the multiple communities in NM. In 2003, my father-in-law, Ira Rothman asked me to join him in business which he and his wife, Madeline, founded. This began the 2nd generation of our family business. Over the next 17 years, as Partner, along with Jaimie, we transitioned our company from a “fax” dependent business to one utilizing technology while also inserting a core of ethics to elevate our business practices and expand our reach and services. IRA Sales has assisted multiple companies with the coordination of donated goods valued at more than $10M.
